The Muslim Sports Foundation has appointed the following development managers to implement the charities mission and objectives effectively. Our development managers have first-hand lived experiences of the inequalities evident in Muslim communities.
Muhammad Abdullah Is an Islamic study graduate with extensive experience of serving and leading the Muslim community at grass roots level. He was the Chairman of the historical first purpose-built Mosque in the United Kingdom. Recently his expertise has been focused on the creation, facilitation and modernisation of children’s Islamic education within the culturally diverse city of Birmingham.
Sahiba is a diversity and inclusion specialist, using her research on Muslim communities in physical education, physical activity and sport as her base for developing initiatives for the MSF. Through her studies, Sahiba has focused on the impact of policies and practices that exist within the education and sport sectors and has identified various interventions towards addressing the inclusion of ethnically diverse communities, more specifically for Muslim communities across the nation. Sahiba works closely on the implementation of female services here at the MSF.
