Zainab Alema aka Zee aka The Bulldozer is a neonatal nurse by profession and a rugby player by passion. Zainab has been playing rugby for the past 10 years starting at Ealing Trailfinders rugby club. She currently plays for Barnes RFC. Zainab is passionate about getting more ethnically diverse people into rugby which led her to start Studs in the Mud and also go onto volunteer with the project rugby programme under both Harlequins and Saracens foundation. Through her obvious love of the sport and advocacy for the women's game she has been featured on various sporting platforms namely ITV Sports, The Telegraph, Virtual Rugby Show, Rugby world Mag and many more. Zainab endeavours to be a positive voice for the sport and has hopes to inspire and empower the younger generation.
