MSF Welcomes Two New Community Partners

Muslim Sports Foundation (MSF) is proud to welcome two new partner organisations who share our commitment to increasing access to sport, physical activity, and wellbeing opportunities across Muslim and wider communities.

Following strong engagement through our partnership outreach, both organisations stood out for their grassroots impact, community-led approach, and dedication to creating inclusive spaces that support health, confidence, and social connection.

We are delighted to welcome the following organisations as official MSF partners:

Community One – Pakistan Community Centre

Community One is a peer-led organisation delivering culturally specific services for Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities, with a strong focus on supporting Derby’s Muslim community. Their work aims to tackle inequalities and reduce deprivation by ensuring that individuals and families facing the greatest barriers can access trusted, culturally grounded support.

Through services shaped by lived experience, Community One addresses a range of social, health, and economic challenges affecting ethnically diverse communities. Their programmes span health and wellbeing, family support, youth provision, adult learning, physical activity, and crisis response — all delivered in safe, inclusive spaces that respect cultural and religious needs.

By amplifying community voices and empowering individuals and families, Community One plays a vital role in strengthening resilience and driving meaningful change within the communities they serve.

Hawa-Hubb

Hawa-Hubb is a Nottingham-based grassroots initiative dedicated to empowering women and girls, particularly those from ethnically diverse, faith-based, and traditionally underserved communities.

The organisation was established in response to challenges such as social isolation, limited access to culturally appropriate recreational spaces, and a lack of inclusive opportunities for women’s physical and emotional wellbeing.

Through sports, arts, and shared cultural activities, Hawa-Hubb creates welcoming environments that foster sisterhood, promote healthy lifestyles, and nurture leadership. Their work helps women build confidence, strengthen social connections, and access opportunities that support long-term wellbeing.

These partnerships represent more than collaboration — they reflect a shared commitment to breaking down barriers, improving health outcomes, and creating inclusive pathways for communities to engage in sport and physical activity.

MSF looks forward to working closely with these organisations on future initiatives, knowledge sharing, and community impact projects.
