Lynne Northcott, a mother of two teens, is a Child & Adolescent Counsellor by profession, working in an East London secondary school, supporting the students with their mental health. Lynne is also the Director of Jog On, a mental health-focused sports brand providing clothing and sports hijabs as well as educating and facilitating workshops on how to unite the mind and body to improve well-being. Lynne is an avid multi-distance runner, competing in both road and cross-country races and has run two world major marathons. She also enjoys Pilates and cycling. Lynne’s personal mission in life is to promote how mental health can be improved through movement as well as mindful stillness by connecting the mind and body as one. She hopes she can help support the Muslim community to embark on that journey to self-care.
