This weekend, the Muslim Sports Foundation was proud to support the @muslim_golf_association in their incredible work bringing golf to the British Muslim community. 🏌🏽‍♀️⛳

Through initiatives like these, more Muslim women and girls are discovering the joy of golf, gaining access to the sport, and experiencing the thrill of a live international tournament.

We joined the PIF Team Series in St Albans, a world-class international women’s golf event for an MGA Ladies Day.

It was an inspiring celebration of sport, sisterhood, and shared values, empowering our communities and breaking barriers in golf.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this happen. Together, we’re opening new doors, creating lasting memories, and showing that golf truly is a game for everyone.

We are proud to announce that Dr Aaliya Goyal will become Chair of the Board of Trustees at Muslim Sports Foundation from 5 August 2025!

Dr Aaliya is a nationally respected GP and health equity advocate with deep expertise in public health and inclusion. Her appointment follows a rigorous and independent recruitment process, supported by @officialsportengland, as part of MSF’s ongoing commitment to strong and inclusive governance.

This marks a leadership transition for MSF, with Sajid Hussain continuing as Interim CEO. We’re incredibly grateful to Sajid for his dedicated service as Chair since the Foundation’s inception, his leadership has been key to our journey so far.

We’re excited about this next chapter and the future of MSF under Dr Aaliya’s strategic direction.

🚺 Muslim girls love sport—but many still face barriers in PE due to lack of modest kit, inclusive spaces, or cultural understanding.

💡 From modest kit choices to girls-only clubs, we offer practical ideas to make PE more meaningful and empowering for Muslim girls.

Mental health isn’t new in Islam — but it’s

Mental health isn’t new in Islam — but it’s been silent in our communities for too long.

Earlier this year, the Muslim Sports Foundation and @mindcharity ran a nationwide survey with over 1,200 British Muslims. The results were powerful:

🧠 83% believe mental illness is real
🤫 78% say it’s still taboo in our community
💪 91% believe physical activity helps mental wellbeing
⏳ Yet 46% aren’t as active as they want to be
🕌 Only 8% know if their mosque offers support

We listened — and we acted.

On this blessed Jummah and just as we’ve entered 1447H, we’re proud to launch The Mindful Sunnah 🧘‍♂️🕊 — a free resource rooted in the Sunnah, combining Islamic teachings with modern psychology.

It’s time to reconnect mind, body, and soul — through faith, movement, and mindfulness.
