We are delighted to announce that Phil Smith, Director of Partnerships at @officialsportengland will be joining us as the Key Note Speaker for our upcoming conference.

Phil plays a leading role in shaping partnerships that help tackle inequalities and increase opportunities for people to be active across England. Through collaboration with national, regional and local partners, he has been instrumental in driving positive change across the sport, health and community sectors.

As our keynote speaker, Phil will share insights on the power of partnership, the role of sport in creating stronger communities, and how we can work together to build a more inclusive and connected Britain.

We're delighted to welcome Andy Taylor, CEO of @active_partnerships, as a panellist at our upcoming conference.

Andy has dedicated his career to creating opportunities for people to lead active, healthier lives and has been at the forefront of efforts to tackle inequalities in sport and physical activity.

As CEO of Active Partnerships, he works across sectors to drive collaboration, innovation and inclusive participation.

He will join senior leaders from sport, health, local government and the community sector to explore how sport can strengthen belonging, improve wellbeing and help build more connected communities across Britain.

Muslim Sports Foundation and Dr Aaliya can confirm that Dr Aaliya has concluded her time as Chair and Trustee of the organisation.

MSF would like to thank Dr Aaliya for her contribution during her time with the charity and wish her every success for the future.

MSF can also confirm that current Trustee Tayyab Akhlaq has been appointed Interim Chair.

Both parties remain supportive of the organisation’s future and its continued mission to create healthier, more active and connected communities through sport and physical activity.

This #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek, we are humbled to share that over 15,000 Muslims came together to attend a powerful mental health sermon across the country—opening up vital conversations around wellbeing, faith, and community. 💚

Mental health matters in every space, and seeing thousands engage in reflection, support, and dialogue is a powerful reminder that no one should struggle alone.

At Muslim Sports Foundation, we believe in championing both physical and mental wellbeing, creating spaces where our communities feel seen, heard, and supported.

We would like to say a huge thank you to all of the mosques that signed up to support the initiative across the week!
