In May, we proudly hosted our annual Female Football Coach Conference at St George’s Park in partnership with @TheFA.

Over 90 Muslim women came together to connect, grow, and be empowered through football coaching. 💪🏽

This landmark event offered a safe, supportive space for aspiring coaches to thrive, break down barriers, and become changemakers in their communities. 💫

We’re honoured to be driving representation and opportunity for Muslim women in football—and this is only the beginning.

At the Muslim Sports Foundation, we’ve always believed that true wellbeing means nurturing both mind and body. That’s why we partnered with @mindcharity to launch an in-depth mental health surveys focused specifically on British Muslims.

🔍 Over 1,200 individuals responded. The insights are clear—and urgent:
✅ 83% see mental illness as a genuine health issue
❌ Yet 78% say it's still taboo in their community
🏥 Only 5.6% sought professional mental health support
🏃🏽 91% believe physical activity improves mental wellbeing
🕌 Just 8% were aware of mental health support in mosques

We’re turning data into action—launching faith-informed resources, mosque engagement programmes, and sport-based mental health initiatives
